QUETTA: Member National Assembly from Gwadar-Lasbela, Muhammad Aslam Bhootani has expressed his astonishment and strong reaction over awarding CSR summit 2020 China operational Hubco Power and said that the company did nothing for the local people of the area where they were operating.

Talking to media, on Saturday, he said that he had elected MNA from the area where the company has its operations. The Hubco power, he said done nothing for the local communities in Gadani area
of Lasbela district.

“So much 3 villages along with power plant are deprived of electricity, no jobs were given to local people, and area is badly polluted that also damaging marine life in the sea,” Mr. Bhootani said and added that fishermen are about to go hungry  due to power plant.

Aslam Bhootani, who also served a Speaker Balochistan Assembly called upon to withdraw summit award from the China Power. “Had I’ been invited at the ceremony, I would have exposed China Power that treatment it was doing with the local people of Gadani and Hub areas.

He said that the company did not fulfill its promises made with the people of the area while installing power plant about providing jobs and other responsibilities under CRS. The member of the National Assembly from Gwadar-Lasbela told media that he is writing to the concerned to withdraw CRS summit award 2020 from the China Power Company.
