QUETTA: The Central leader of Balochistan National Party Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani, Provincial President Awami National Party Asghar Khan Achakzai and Secretary General National Party Jan Buledi urged government to lift ban on students’ organizations calling the political activities of students as imperative for a strong democracy in Pakistan.

They shared these views on Wednesday during a Seminar held at Quetta Press Club in order to discuss the role of students’ organization in strengthening democracy in the country.

“Unfortunately our resources are being looted with full impunity hence people of Balochistan always ruled by dummy leaderships which ruined the governance and structure in our province.” Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani said while addressing the Seminar added in order to foster democracy the students’ organizations should be allowed to continue activities in educational institutes.

He further said, in order to keep our people deprived and illiterate, many war games had been played on our soil, “Brotherly nations living in Balochistan turned violent on each other following a vicious conspiracy used to disturb peace in the province.” Raisani alleged.

Sharing views in the Seminar Provincial President and Member Provincial Assembly Asghar Khan Achakzai said, Students Organizations have been facing many obstacles since Zia ul Haq’s dictatorship but Awami National Party, from the very first day vehemently demanding restoration of political activities at country’s universities,

“Unfortunately Balochistan and KPK province remained effected from war against terror as hundreds of people in both provinces have been killed in terrorists’ attacks.” Asghar Khan said added following the philosophy of Bacha Khan Baba, ANP and its students’ political wing strived for non-violence.

The Central Secretary General of National Party Jan Muhammad Buledi has stressed upon supremacy of constitution and parliament in the country added political parties in Balochistan always stood coherent against all conspiracies played to disturb peace,

“Many key political leaders in Pakistan emerged from students’ politics because without nourishing our youth’s brain toward democracy, we can’t ensure supremacy of Parliament in Pakistan.” Buledi added.
