QUETTA: Quetta Chamber of Commerce on Monday commenced Livestock Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (LEDI) calling the initiative as progress on Balochistan Livestock Expo 2019. The LEDI would be applied through Dairy Science Park Balochistan which would allow entrepreneurs to run their business in livestock sector.

The decision announced during a meeting chaired by President QCCI Badar ud Din Kakar in which representatives from Livestock Department and Public Private sector were present.

Briefing the meeting Dr. Shabir briefed the meeting regarding Cattlekit- PATTA while Abdul Qyoum has shared thorough briefing over International Trade Center.

The meeting was agreed upon to expand business and economic opportunities across Balochistan stricken with poverty and aftershocks of war on terror.

All the participants and representatives in the meeting unanimously agreed upon various recommendations discussed in the meeting including jobs opportunities for youth, support for private stake holders, slaughter houses,

lather processing units, cold storage, establishing policy support program for corporate livestock development, registration of Chinese company, quality control practices and participation of students in difference projects.
