QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau, Higher Education Department and Director Colleges conducted debate competitions on Tuesday amid students of various colleges on the topics of corruption and prosper Pakistan.

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau, Higher Education Department and Director Colleges conducted debate competitions on Tuesday amid students of various colleges on the topics of corruption and prosper Pakistan.

Director NAB Zahid Hussain Sheikh, Secretary Higher Education Abdul Saboor Kakar, Director College Ms. Rubaba Durrani and Principles of numerous colleges participated in the competition.

“Education is the only source which can yield our country from sludge of corruption because the notorious practice has ruined our economy.” Secretary Higher Education Saboor Kakar said lauded the debate competition on corruption at college level.

He stressed upon more competitions and seminars at colleges in order to aware our youth regarding effects of corruption in our society added our professors and teachers have responsibilities to educate the youth regarding menace of corruption.

Addressing the event Director General National Accountability Bureau Zahid Hussain Sheikh has said, NAB has been pursuing zero-tolerance policy over corruption, “The debate competition would helpful for students in developing their skills also informing the youth regarding effects of corruption on the society.”

The Secretary Higher Education and DG NAB distributed trophies and prizes among debaters clinched first, second and third positions.
