QUETTA: The Balochistan Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan Alyani while presiding over a high-level meeting here on Monday, said that for changing the fate of the province the government officers should have show seriousness along with political leadership who was making all out efforts to make the province developed and prospers.

The meeting, which continued for several hours, has briefed by the concerned authorities about the development projects included in the Public Sector Development Progarmme (PSDP) of 2019-20.

Meeting reviewed pace of progress on development schemes of health, education and sports sector. The finance department given details in the meeting about funds utilized on development projects.

Finance Minister, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Minister Health Mir Nasibullah Marri, Advisor on Sports to the Chief Minister Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Advisor on secondary education Muhammad Khan Lehri, Chief Secretary Capitan (Retd) Fazeel Asghar, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Secretary finance Noor-Ul-Haq Baloch, Secretary Education Muhammad Tayyab Lehri and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

While reviewing and discussing development programme, it was decided that after adopting strategy for implementation on the development projects the work should be launched for their in time completion and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.

Speaking at the meeting the Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan Alyani informed the meeting that the provincial government was working hard to increase resources of the province and we are moving in the right direction in this regard. “The Balochistan development development budged could increase in many fold if we utilize the resources properly,” Jam Kamal said.

Referring the plan establishing sports complexes in all districts of the province, he said that it would not only provide opportunity to our youths to take part in various games but also common people would also able to take part in healthy activities and the province would produce best players of various games. He directed that for initiating implementation on the sports complexes project the district profiles should be prepared and other steps should be ensured in this regard.

He said that before holding National games in Quetta Balochistan games should be arranged that would help in preparation of National Games. He said that in the sports complexes the international facilities and standard also be ensured.
