QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Wednesday presided a meeting to set Government of Balochistan’s stance to be lifted in next Council of Common Interest CCI over provincial rights on its natural resources after 18th amendment.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Wednesday presided a meeting to set Government of Balochistan’s stance to be lifted in next Council of Common Interest CCI over provincial rights on its natural resources after 18th amendment.

Provincial government has decided to secure provincial rights and interest in exploration of oil, gas and minerals in Balochistan vowing to represent Balochistan with strong stance in next CCI meeting.

Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani directed to obtain services and expertise of consultants in order to finalize a strong case of Balochistan that would be presented in CCI meeting.

Provincial Ministers Zahoor Buledi, Meer Asad Baloch, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Meer Nasebullah Marri, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Chief Secretary Balochistan Fazeel Asghar and provincial secretaries were present in the meeting.

The meeting was agreed upon to establish commission and consensus of all stakeholders regarding release of lisence and registration over Pakistan Standard Quality Control Authority.

Provincial Government has also decided to call Task Force meeting following burgeoning population in Balochistan.

“Incumbent Government would secure provincial rights and public interest at every forum thus a strong stance would be adopted in next CCI meeting.” CM Balochistan addressed the meeting also directed Secretaries to review all legal and technical aspects for provincial government case in CCI meeting.

CM Balochistan also announced to raise water issues between Sindh and Balochistabn under 1991 IRSA treaty.
