TURBAT: The University of Turbat UoT 9th meeting of Advance Studies and Research Board (ASRB) was held in the meeting room of the University. UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir presided over the ASRB meeting.

TURBAT: The University of Turbat UoT 9th meeting of Advance Studies and Research Board (ASRB) was held in the meeting room of the University. UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir presided over the ASRB meeting.

The meeting was attended by UoT’s Registrar Ghulam Farooq Baloch, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Director Institute of Balochi Language and Culture (IBLC) Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Prof. Dr. Gull Hassan, Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr. Hanif Ur Rahman, Controller of Examination.

Tanvir Ahmed, Chairperson Management Science department Dr. Waseem Barkat, Chairperson Chemistry department Dr. Naeem Ullah, Assistant Professor Management Science department Dr. Riaz Ahmed and Assistant professor IBLC Dr. Ghafoor Shad. After thorough discussion and deliberation a number of decisions were taken in the meeting for the promotion of research culture in the university.

Appreciating the efforts of heads of the department and its faculty members for starting M.Phil/MS program in Institute of Balochi Language and Culture (IBLC), Chemistry and Management Science, the UoT’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said universities were recognized by the quality of education and research being conducting in the university and his institution would leave no stone unturned for the promotion of quality and market based research.

At the outset of the meeting, the vice chancellor said that research and development were the need of the hour and they were committed for the promotion of quality research culture at the UoT.

The participants of the meeting presented valuable suggestions for the enhancement of quality research in the university. The board also approved new admission of M.Phil./MS in the department of Chemistry, Management Science and IBLC.
