QUETTA: Two brothers were shot dead on Sunday by unknown assailants in Quetta’s Jinnah Town, police officials said.

According to details, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on vehicle at Killi Shabo area of Quetta and managed to escape from the scene. Resultantly, two inmates identified as Daro Khan and Abdul Aziz sustained critical wounds in the attack.

They were shifted to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Deceased were said to be real brothers. However, motive behind the attack could not be ascertained.

SHO Baloch said the assailants used 0.9mm pistol to shoot the two brothers. A case had been registered and the police were investigating the incident, he added.
