QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai has said that serving masses, ensuring basic amenities and addressing their issues was top priority of government, and no stone would be left unturned in resolving their issues.

“A number of schemes on education, health, construction of roads, dams and agriculture- development have been started in Pashtun areas of the province which would bring prosperity in those areas and would also strengthen the trust of masses on government,” he added.

He expressed these views during a meeting with various delegations hailing from Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah and other areas who called on him here on Thursday.

People in delegations apprised provincial minister about issues and problems of their respective areas and requested for their immediate redressal.

Provincial Minister said that provision of basic amenities to masses was first priority of the government and in this connection numerous development schemes had been included in Public Sector Development Programme of ongoing fiscal year. “Work on these important projects and schemes is underway and following completion of these projects development and prosperity will come in the province,” Mr. Achakzai added.

He pledged that commitments made with the masses would be honored at any cost adding that law and order, education, health and provision of employment to youth would be ensured on priority basis.
