QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan‘s Advisor for Livestock Mitta Khan kakar on Sunday said that Balochistan Livestock Expo 2019 would play a vital role in stabilizing the economy of the province.

Kakar said that livestock was the backbone of economy of the province as the people of Balochistan had been attached with this sector for centuries, and they were working with ancient method of cattle farming.

CM Advisor stressed that there was a dire need to equip this sector with latest requirements so that the export of livestock sector could improve and export of livestock products could boost that would certainly bring huge foreign exchange for the country.

Livestock Advisor said that provincial government was making optimal efforts and utilizing all available resources for the promotion of livestock sector. He said that in accordance with the vision of chief minister Jam Kamal Khan Livestock Expo 2019 would help inform the general people and those affiliated with this sector about the importance and scope of this sector.

He said that the interest of private sector in this regard was welcoming and Balochistan Livestock sector 2019 would be a milestone in the development of this sector and the interested businessmen and investors would be informed about the potential of this sector in Balochistan.

Mitta Khan said that the basic aim of holding livestock expo was to revive the trust of investors and we had succeeded to a great extent in this regard because not only from Pakistan but also from other countries people linked with livestock sector had reached Quetta and had done their registration.
