QUETTA: The Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Jahangir Khan Tareen and Federal Minister for Energy Umar Ayub Khan on Thursday met with Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani discussing political and development affairs of Balochistan.

QUETTA: The Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Jahangir Khan Tareen and Federal Minister for Energy Umar Ayub Khan on Thursday met with Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani discussing political and development affairs of Balochistan.

The meeting was agreed upon uplifting provincial natural resources in order to push Balochistan on development track.

“Balochistan has been blessed with natural wealth which could develop not only Balochistan but Pakistan as well, unfortunately we foiled in taking benefits from our resources due to lack of effective policies.” Jam Kamal told Tareen and Ayub while sharing Balochistan’s stance on its natural resources.

“Incumbent Government has unveiled its first mineral policy while additional funds have been allocated for natural resources development which would yield job opportunities for youth.” Jam Kamal added.

The Federal Minister for Energy Umar Ayub and Jahangir Tareen corroborated CM Balochistan stance and pledged their full support with provincial government.

High officials from Federal and provincial government also attended the meeting. Matters related to the Low gas pressure in the cold area of the province, replacement of old gas supply pipelines and issues of load management were also discussed during the meeting.

It was decided that measures and attempts will surely be taken to solve all these problems of common men in Balochistan on priority.

Umar Ayub assured Chief Minister to address low gas pressure issue pestering people in Quetta and other cities of Balochistan added the dilapidated gas pipelines would be replaced and load shedding schedule would he decreased across the province.
