There was a lock down and curfew in occupied Kashmir by Indian military from past three month, said Fazalur Rehman,” the international Human rights organisations should take serious notice of this brutality on Kashmiris, he demands.

While addressing to the thousands of JUI-F supporters, students of seminaries and activists gathered at Sohrab Goth on Karachi Hyderabad M9 Motorway here on Sunday, Moulana Fazalur Rehman said that the present federal government setup was brought through rigging and selection on July 25, 2018. The government negotiation team led by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak met Rehbar Committee and seeking NRO for their PM Imran Khan, said Fazalur Rehman.

The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Aazadi March kicked off from Karachi after a speech from Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Kashmir Black Day. Beside JUI-F supporters the opposition parties political activists including PML-N, PPP, ANP, JUP Noorani’s hundreds of supporters participated in Aazadi March and chanting slogans against Imran Khan.

The caravan lead by the JUI-F chief Moulana Fazalur Rehman proceeded to the Super Highway (M9) after smaller demonstrations from all over the city converged at Sohrab Goth where the political leaders including  Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair, PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and former chairman senate Mian Raza Rabbani, Sindh information Minister Saeed Ghani, PPP leader Syeda Shehla Raza, JUP leader Owais Noorani, Awami National Party Sindh President Shahi Syed, JUI-F senior leaders Moulana Rashid Mehmood Somroo, Moulana Nasir Somroo, Qari Muhammad Usman and others also spoke at this occasion about Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

JUI-F Chief thanked the political leaders participating in the Aazadi march.

Moulana Fazalur Rehman said that “We had promised to our Kashmiri brethren that we will observe a day to express solidarity with them.”

“The entire nation is on the same page on the issue of Kashmir,” said Fazal, adding that there has been a curfew in Kashmir for the past three months. He demanded the international community take notice of human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

Talking about the domestic political scenario, the JUI-F chief said that the opposition had denied all demands of the negotiation team sent by the government and will hold their sit-in as per the decisions made by the judiciary.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan will have to resign. Hundreds of thousands have gathered in Karachi; what will the government do when people from across the country reach Islamabad?” Fazalur Rehman asked.

The JUI-F chief questioned the forces who had brought Moin Qureshi who was a green card holder from abroad in 1993 to appoint him as caretaker prime minister for three months in Pakista. Who brought Shoukat Aziz who ruled as Prime Minister of Pakistan for more than three years and now who brought the IMF’s servants  as Governor State Bank Baqar Raza and Dr, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, he asked.

“Our citizenship [on the other hand] is questioned; they declare us Pashtun and Afghani,” he said.

Moulana Fazalur Rehman’s remarks come in the backdrop of Pemra’s directive, a day earlier, asking all TV channels to refrain from inviting JUI-F’s Hafiz Hamdullah, saying that he is a confirmed alien.

Fazalur Rehman said that the opposition doesn’t believe in such “flawed laws”. He said what that the opposition does believe in is democracy and the Constitution and wants the sovereignty of the country. “I will announce the future course of action in Islamabad,” JUI-F Chief said.

“We support positive politics. We have spent our entire life in loyalty to the country’s Constitution and we have faced extremism (in return),” Fazal said, adding that the government will have to answer for the tactics it has been employing against the opposition.

Sindh is the gateway of Islam and we have started our March from this Babul Islam and will march towards Islamabad, said Fazal, adding that we will hoisted the flag of Islam in Islamabad.

Criticising on government negative tactics, Fazalur Rehman said that Mufti Kafiyatullah was arrested by law enforcement to suppress the Aazadi March. The federal government was trying to create panic by using these tactics, said Fazalur Rehman.

Meanwhile, PML-N leader and former Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair said that ” this selected government has handover Pakistan to the international investors.” System will have to change now and for this PML-N will fully support Moulana Fazalur Rehman’s Aazadi March, he said.

ANP Sindh Chapter presided Shahi Syed said that we are not favour to end the democratic government in Pakistan. Unfortunately this was selected and disqualified government of PTI, ANP leader said.

Pakistani People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani and Sindh information Minister Saeed Ghani welcomed the participants of the rally. Addressing the crowd,

Raza Rabbani said he was here on instructions of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto, and that the PPP workers and supporters will welcome the marchers.

A large number of buses and other vehicles were hired to transport the participants of Azadi March. A senior JUI-F leader said that the number of buses had already crossed 400 just only from Karachi.

The participants of Aazadi march stayed for time in Jamshoro and they spent night in Sukkur. The march is scheduled to reach Islamabad via Sukkur and various districts of Punjab. The participants of Azadi March from across the country will gather near Tarnol before entering Islamabad on October 31.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will join Aazadi March today. The convoy of Aazadi March will entered in Punjab today.
