QUETTA: Following the call of Balochistan National Party Awami’s chief Meer Israr Ullah Zheri, the BNP Awami workers on Sunday staged demonstration against Bolan Mining Enterprises for neglecting public rights at Ferozabad, low gas pressure in Khuzdar and video scandal in University of Balochistan.

QUETTA: Following the call of Balochistan National Party Awami’s chief Meer Israr Ullah Zheri, the BNP Awami workers on Sunday staged demonstration against Bolan Mining Enterprises for neglecting public rights at Ferozabad, low gas pressure in Khuzdar and video scandal in University of Balochistan.

The protesters staged a rally that marched on various streets of Khuzdar city and turned into a protests outside Khuzdar Press Club.

Chanting fully throat slogans for their demands the protesters urged provincial government take immediate action against a mining company suppressing public rights,

“Bolan Mining Enterprises have been mining in Ferozabad from last five decades, despite signing a treaty with local tribes, they didn’t provide any facilities to residents of Ferozabad living near the mining field.” Central leader of BNP A Muhi ud Din Baloch said added despite earning billions, the company neglecting locals.

Talking on low-gas pressure in Khuzar as winter kicked-off in Balochistan the protesters said, former Senaor Israr Ullah Zehri approved two LPG plants in Khuzdar but previous and current regimes refused to install gas plant in the city which would make sure provision of gas facility to masses,

“People of Balochistan are owner of their natural resources, despite having cache of natural gas, we are deprived from gas facilities but industries in Punjab being run upon our gas.” The protesters added.

The Balochistan National Party Awami expressed concerns over burgeoning fatal accidents at Quetta-Karachi highway demanded immediate expansion of the highway

The Central leader of BNP Awami also demanded immediate action against culprits behind the video scandal in University of Balochistan added the incident brought shame for our province as in tribal society women have more respect,

“The scandal raised new questions regarding security of female students inside the University hence government should punish the criminals harassed and blackmailed female students.” They added.
