QUETTA: The province’s first International Livestock Expo to be kicked-off from 18 and 19 November in Quetta in order to attract national and foreign investors.

QUETTA: The province’s first International Livestock Expo to be kicked-off from 18 and 19 November in Quetta in order to attract national and foreign investors.

“Provincial cattle, sheep and other animals would be introduced in the International Livestock Export that would be beneficial for booming province’s livestock industry.” Provincial Advisor for Livestock Mitha Khan, Secretary Livestock Dostain Jamaldini and Special Assistant to CM Ejaz Raisani said while launching livestock web at Quetta Press Club.

They added, 70% population in Balochistan are attached with livestock sector hence provincial government utilizing all resources to strengthen the livestock department,

“Provincial Government is holding province’s first International Livestock Expo in November where provincial livestock would be unveiled for national and foreign investors.” They said added social media and other mediums would be used for promotion of the expo.

They further said, without industries we can’t end poverty and unemployment from this province called the Livestock Expo as tool to restore confidence of people attach with livestock sector,

“Chief Minister Balochistan, Advisor for Livestock and government officials will visit Islamabad in order to meet 50 international ambassadors and representatives of Chamber of Commerce to share information of provincial Livestock Expo.” Mitha Khan, Dostain Jamaldini and Ejaz Raisani told Journalists added we would hold sitting with QCCI members as well.

The Provincial Government has announced to hold International Livestock Expo every years called livestock as backbone of provincial economy,

“Census of human being takes place in every five years but last animal’s census took place in Pakistan following the country has 53% sheep and 60% camels.” They added.

“In Punjab province every single individual owns one animal while in Balochistan a single person has four animals which is a good omen for provincial economy.” The Livestock Minister and Secretary said.
