QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has taken notice of sudden increase in Congo virus cases. Jam Kamal has directed quick measures for the eradication of Congo virus from province.

Livestock and health department call meeting to address situation and submit report, Chief Minister Balochistan has directed Chief Secretary.

“Every available resource must be utilized for the medical tests and treatment of affected of Congo virus. He also directed to functionalize Congo ward to provide better treatment to patients.

On other hand, Medical Superintendent Fatima Jinnah Hospital Dr. Noor Ullah Musa Khail has said that Congo patients are receiving best possible treatment on directions of CM Balochistan.

“All the medicines for the patients are free”, MS Fatima Jinnah Hospital said as he insisted that Virology laboratory has started functioning for the PCR of Congo for the first time in Balochistan.

MS Dr. Noor Ullah said that Congo patients had to suffer for two weeks for the reports of test to return from Karachi and Islamabad.

“These tests were being conducted for 15 thousand rupees but now are free of any cost”, Dr. Noor Ullah Musa Khail said.
