QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Thursday chaired a meeting to review affairs of provincial revenue department added provincial government keenly reviewing land issues of revenue department.

Provincial Revenue Minister Saleem Khosa, Chief Secretary Balochistan capt retd Fazeel Asghar and senior member of Board of Revenue Qamar Masood were present the meeting while Commissioner Makran Division discussed affairs through video link.

“Balochistan has a sprawling landmass thus Land Officers should be equipped with technicalities in handling land affairs and information regarding details of government land.” CM Jam Kamal said.

“District Officers, Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Commissioners can address provincial land issues by utilizing their expertise and earnest efforts.”

He further said, provincial government has been working on mechanism to ensure transparent inspection over Tehseel record which would be helpful in addressing public land issues on priority level.

Chief Minister stressed upon amendments in provincial Land Revenue Act in order to thoroughly review legal obstacles in handling provincial revenue affairs.
