QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has said that Gwadar is considered an important district where different mega projects underway.

“We have presented best possible budget and allocated funds for every sector, including one billion rupees for the different projects of Gwadar”, CM Jam Kamal said while addressing a public gathering organized by BAP in Gwadar. Provisional Ministers and Member Balochistan Assembly were also present on the occasion.

Jam Kamal announced that a hospital will be constructed in the city while a girls college has been approved for Pasni. 200 million rupees are to released for the Pasni hospital, he added.

He also promised the people that Gwadar will have a status of Metropolitan from the municipal committee and said that re-function of Pasni Fish Harbor jetty is priority of provisional government “I was asked to release 400 million rupees and Pasni Harbor Jetty will be back at functioning but i refused as i knew the officers would fail to utilize funds properly.

Corruption in Pasni Fish Harbor will not be tolerated and stern action will taken against illegal fishing business”, Jam Kamal said.

He said that billions of rupees worth development project will soon be underway, while fishermen society to be established for the welfare of fishermen, where representatives of district Gwadar and Lesbela will be included.

“700 million rupees funds are to be allocated for the fishermen society”, Jam Kamal Khan announced.
Provisional Ministers Abdul Rauf Rind and Zahoor Buledi also addressed the public gathering.
