QUETTA: Preparations are in full swing as animal markets on different points of city filled with people on weekend. Though, people still worry about expensive animals.

Balochistan’s largest animal market on Eastern Bypass is centre of attraction for the buyers as Eid Ul Azha nears. More than 40 thousand animals were brought to the place but very few left.

Most of the animals brought from Sindh and Punjab are sold despite being expensive. Buyers are also taking keen interest in the Rove and Boer goats.

Special initiatives are taken including spray and other facilities are being provided in cattle markets, government officials claim.

According to animals owners, sale of the animals to increase with few days remaining, as they are hoping to return after all their animals are sold out.
