Tump, being one of the most disregarded tehsil in Kech Division dealt with legion barriers as the citizens of Tump Tehsil are underprivileged from the basic requirements like, healthcare facilities, quality education, internet service, standard roads along with the availability of newspapers; therefore, the region’s masses are left to suffer.

Zeeshan, one of the residents of Tump region narrated, ” By the time I came to my native place (Kolahoo) on vacations, I fully intended to prepare for the test of Yes- Program- (an American_based scholarship), but could find my life hard to dwell here, for in the region we could not pick up the most essential tools for getting in touch with educational activities; as the accessibility of internet along with the availability of newspapers give strengths to everyone to be aware of each and everything (happenings) in the world, but receiving the rudimentary needfulnesses were a long haul for us.”

Not only Zeeshan’s studies is effectuated due to unavailability of Internet and newspapers, but also the other denizens of the region. Although, internet facilities coupled with newspaper play a dynamic part to great changes in the society, but provincial government never bothers to heed her attention for the development of its regions and the development of any part of the region is a far cry!

Balochistan Express caught up with a student based in Tump and inquired what difficulties he faces as a student when there is no 4G services in the region “I face manifold difficulties as a student as there is no 4G services although the students are assigned to do the assignments; however, without the access of 4G services we go through tough situations to avail the information related to the assigned topics.”

All the same, my recent visit to my native village, Kolahoo, left me bereaved of newspapers accessibility and other sources to receive the news of the surroundings, not only did it let me down that the area is deprived of the basics, but also made me stunned , for the region is getting neglected in every sector.

Shakeel Phullan, a student of Turbat University, narrates, “4G has stopped us to be in touch with current news, and students are unable to go for standard researches. They are living in such a society where progression seems an illusion.”

The province contributes a lot for boosting up Pakistan’s economy, but yet the province has been neglected in every sector. Provoking one to question whether the members of BALOCHISTAN Assembly convert their promises into reality as the province has been living in the dark waiting for the dawn or not. Will the development of BALOCHISTAN only be a far cry for Baloch?

In a nutshell, the Tump tehsil always remains deprived from getting the ground-laying facilities, like internet, availability of newspapers, standard quality of education, healthcare facilities and along with the fundamental necessitates. But the political leaders of the regions are ever busy in their own life as they never bother themselves to resolve the pros and cons of the region. Each step from our representatives is worth notable to brining reforms in the underprivileged tehsil.
