QUETTA: Chairman Provincial Standing Committee for Fisheries, Livestock, Agriculture and Food Younus Aziz Zehri presided a meeting on Monday to review the affairs of these departments.

Committee members Mtha Khan Kakar, Naseer Shahwani, Zamrak Achakzai, Shakeela Naveed, Lala Rasheed Baloch and Secretaries of concerned departments have attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting Chairman Younus Aziz Zehri has pointed out the issues in agriculture sector added all measures in the department should be taken up under the law because avoiding legalities would be tantamount of injustice with people of Balochistan.

“Government officers in Fisheries, Agriculture and Livestock sectors should show sincerity and fulfil their responsibilities.” Zehri said pledged to address the issues of all sectors.

He stressed senior officers to show respect and kindness toward junior staff because officers have major role in provincial development.

Younus Aziz Zehri directed Secretary Fisheries to fill vacant posts in Fisheries department on merit.
