QUETTA: Provincial Health Minister Meer Naseebullah Marri has said, Government of Balochistan has been taking major steps to regarding betterment of health structure in the province stressed upon health officers to utilize their expertise in provision of quality health treatment.

He shared these views on Wednesday while presiding a meeting at Deputy Commissioner Office where he has been briefed regarding health facilities in all districts of Balochistan.

“Provincial Government has vowed to impart health facilities to masses at their door steps thus health department’s officers should utilize their expertise in reviving health structure in Balochistan.” Naseebullah Marri said directed authorities to provide assistance to health staff during health campaigns.

Lauding the performance of People’ Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Health Minister provincial government has more plans regarding development of health sector.

Reviewing the performance of Education Department, Naseebullah Marri directed health officials to keep close on teachers’ attendance added Government Schools in remote areas would be provided all facilities.

Talking to the Deputy Director of Livestock Department Mr. Marri directed him to start provision of vaccination in all centers,

“Majority population in Balochistan depends on livestock thus the department start vaccination campaign in all districts.”

Further reviewing the cleanliness situation of Municipal Department Naseebullah Marri directed the authorities to ensure cleanliness in Quetta added all sewerage line needs to be repaired thus government has zero-tolerance regarding beauty of Quetta city.

He also directed Public Health Engineering Department to utilize all available resources in order to control water shortage in Quetta city added Government was fully aware of electricity and water shortage in Balochistan,

“QESCO and PHE departments have been directed to ensure provision of water and electricity in summer.” Health Minister added.
