QUETTA: Levies force took action against those tractors involved in violation of traffic and overloading and strict warned owners of tractors to avoid violation of traffic and overloading in Dasht area of Mastung district on Thursday.

Dasht Levies Force Station’s official Shadi Khan Bangulzai told APP that on Special directives of Assistant Commissioner Dasht Farooq Abdullah, Levies force team took action against those tractors owners’ drivers involved in violation of traffic in order to ensure implementation of traffic rule in the area for reducing traffic accidents on National Highway.

He said most of tractors were carrying mud from different areas of lands for bricks in Dasht which were reported to be caused of accident in the areas due to overloading.

He said measures are being taken to divide notice papers of traffic rules to owners of tractors to inform them regarding traffic rules for ensuring fitness of tractors’ divers and warned them that strict action would be taken against those tractors’ owners involved in violation of traffic rules.

He also urged tractors drivers and other people to cooperate with Levies force for implementation of traffic rule in the areas in order to save precious lives of people from road mishaps on National Highway.
