“Entire Balochistan including Quetta city has become hub of problems due to flawed policies of current government added the whole city was jammed on Monday due to teachers protest in Quetta’s hockey chowk.” Akhtar Mengal said added Jam Government has jammed all sectors in the province.

He shared these views on Monday while addressing a ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs of Balochistan.

Calling Balochistan Awami Party as temporary political force in the province Akhtar Mengal said, how can a political party address public woes when it itself entered in rule through backdoors.

Sharing views on statement regarding threats to democracy in Pakistan Mengal said, we have been hearing such statement since 1972, “When elected government ousted in 1972 not a single party surfaced but today many politicians have been highlighting threats to democracy in order to secure their personal interests.”

“Those creating hue and cry regarding threat to democracy supported attempts against elected regimes but we always invited all political parties to strengthen democracy.” Mengal added.

Talking on BNP’s deal with PTI Govenrment President Balochistan National Party said, instead of demanding ministries and perks from Federal Government we utilized all our attention on Missing Persons’ issue thus many missing persons have returned to their homes safely.

Akhtar Mengal condemned threats to Journalists and censorship of media in Pakistan vowed to continue strive for freedom of speech.
