Govt to take strict action against absent employees: Jam Kamal

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Wednesday directed provincial departments to submit report in Chief Minister Secretariat regarding Doctors, DCs, Doctors and Teachers not ensuring duties at their posted districts.


QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Wednesday directed provincial departments to submit report in Chief Minister Secretariat regarding Doctors, DCs, Doctors and Teachers not ensuring duties at their posted districts.

CM Jam Kamal has directed authorities to take departmental action against government officers not performing duties in remote parts of Balochistan.

Provincial Government has decided to cancel contracts of doctors appointed on contract basis in DHQs while departmental action would be taken against permanent doctors through CMIT report.

Meanwhile a report has been submitted by Special Branch Quetta revealing the details of ghost doctors not performing duties in remote areas of Balochistan incuding Turbat, Panjgur, Gawadar, Loralai, Quetta, Lasbela, Dera Murad Jamali and other areas.

Health Department has decided to issue show-cause notices to the absent doctors while Deputy Commissioners have been directed to check doctors’ attendance on daily basis.

It is pertinent to mention here that Government of Balochistan has appointed dozens of doctors on contract basis in order to ensure provision of quality health facilities in the province but many among appointed doctors not performing duties.
