QUETTA: Balochistan educational employees and Balochistan employee’s action committee staged a sit-in at Quetta’s Hockey chowk for the demands; as Quetta faced worst traffic jam.

After 11 days of token hunger strike Balochistan teachers and staff of education department have made another step towards intensity by staging a sit-in at Hockey Chowk Quetta. Protestors chanted different slogans in favor of demands while criticized government for lack of interest.

According to the Balochistan employees’ action committee, 11 points charter of demands was presented to government, but yet to get any response. They are protest since last two months and are forced to take the serious steps.

Though, Teachers and other educational staff ended the sit-in after a while they insisted that such kind of protests to continue until demands are fulfilled.

Balochistan’s teachers and other staff have been protesting outside Quetta Press Club through a camp since last week for their demands of restoring service structure, vocational allowance and other incentives.
