QUETTA: Following the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani, provincial government to launch action against encroachment and land grabbers throughout the province from Monday.

QUETTA: Following the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani, provincial government to launch action against encroachment and land grabbers throughout the province from Monday.

The decision was taken on Monday during a meeting presided by Provincial Revenue Minister Saleem Ahmed Khosa who has been appointed as focal person for anti-encroachment drive.

Principle Secretary to CM Noor ul Ameen Mengal has also attended the meeting while all divisional commissioners were connected through video links.

The commissioners have been directed to submit a report in every three months regarding action against encroachment and land grabbers.

“In order to fulfill vision of CM Jam Kamal, provincial government would remove encroachment on government land while strict action would be taken against land grabbers.” Provincial Minister Saleem Khosa said while addressing the meeting added black sheep inside revenue department would be brought to justice.

He said, Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has vowed to free government land from land grabber and encroachment because he see to see equal development in all division including small towns of Balochistan.

The meeting has decided to keep close monitoring on anti-encroachment campaign while CM Balochistan would visit all districts physically in order to review the operation.

It is pertinent to mention here that during an anti-encroachment dive in Quetta government land grabbed by land mafia has been freed which was cost of five billion rupees.

Sharing views in the meeting principle secretary to CM Noor ul Ameen Mengal has said, on directives of CM Balochistan, provincial government has approved housing schemes at district and towns level.
