QUETTA: The Joint Opposition Parties on Monday have announced to start movement against provincial government following provincial financial budget called coming budget fully against public interest.

The decision comes during a meeting of joint opposition parties held in the chamber of opposition leader Malik Sikandar Advocate.

The meeting has announced to launch anti-government movement after provincial financial budget added provincial government didn’t take opposition members into confidence while finalizing provincial budget.

Former Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, BNP’s leader Malik Naseer Shahwani, Nasrullay Zeeray, Haji Nawaz Kakar and other opposition members have attended the meeting.

“Public Sector Development Program of 2018-19 have completely been lapsed due to incompetency of current government that would impact provincial economy.” Malik Sikandar Advocate said added appropriate planning on PSDP could have change province’ fortune.

The Joint Opposition Parties have called Balochistan Assembly Session on June 12th to start debate on provincial issues while no-confidence motion against CM Jam Kamal also being discussed among opposition members.

Talking on CM Balochistan’s statement regarding consensus with all parties in finalizing provincial budget Opposition Leader said, we have been complaining about being neglected in preparation of provincial budget because treasury side didn’t call us for any suggestions,

“We have established a six members committee comprising on opposition member that would keep close on PSDP and budget affairs.” Malik Sikandar said added we didn’t want to bring no-confidence move against CM but it is game of number game and anything could be happened.

Former CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani has lauded Army’s decision of lending defense budget in Balochistan and Tribal Areas added we would see how much implementation would be made regarding this decision.

Balochistan National Party’s Malik Naseer Shahwani said, 80% budget of PSDP has been lapsed while provincial government was busy in awarding funds for government members,

“Non-Elected members being given millions of rupees for development projects while how can they sit in meetings of Quetta Development Package.” Shahwani added.
