Education and health top priorities in Balochistan’s Budget, says CM

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has said, government has been paying significant importance toward health and education sectors thus these sectors have been given priority in next budget and PSDP.


QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has said, government has been paying significant importance toward health and education sectors thus these sectors have been given priority in next budget and PSDP.

He shared these views on Wednesday while chairing a meeting to review proposed development schemes in health and education sectors in next budget.

Provincial Health Minister Naseebullah Marri, Advisor for Education Department Muhammad Khan Lehri, Secretary Health Hafiz Abdul Majid, Secretary Education Tayab Lehri and other officials have attended the meeting.

“Education and Health Departments should work on effective policies for the development these two important sectors in order to achieve development goals.” Jam Kamal said directed authorities to include Health, Water and Environmental subjects in educational syllabus.

He also directed new examinational criteria in order to discourage cheating culture from Balochistan.

Talking on plight of health sector Jam Kamal said, government has been taking earnest steps to ensure provision of quality health facilities for masses,
