QUETTA: Director British Counsel Sindh Mr. Michael Houlgate on Tuesday called on Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai discussed economic and trade changes in the region particularly in Balochistan.

QUETTA: Director British Counsel Sindh Mr. Michael Houlgate on Tuesday called on Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai discussed economic and trade changes in the region particularly in Balochistan.

Briefing him over geopolitical and law and order situation in Balochistan Governor Amanullah Yasinzai said, Balochistan has gained international attraction due to its sprawling geopolitical location and natural minerals,

“Due to porous borders with Iran and Afghanistan, maintaining law and order remained a big challenged but our Security Forces have been playing an active role for peace.” Governor Balochistan said added due to sacrifice of LEAs today peace has been restored in the province.

Director Michael shared British Government’s initiatives in order to impart digital skills and educational opportunities for country’s youth.

Lauding the efforts Amanullah Khan Yasinzai pledges his full cooperation with British Counsel. Meanwhile meeting with President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan on Tuesday Governor Balochistan.

They discussed matters of mutual interest, including latest situation of the region in the meeting, said press release issued here. On the occasion, Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai said people of Kashmir have been striving for their self-determination for long time.

He said Pakistan has also explained its stance regarding occupied Kashmir at each forum that people of occupied Kashmir should give freedom in light of UN charter so that they could decide their own destiny.

Govnor Balochistan said people of Balochistan also expressed their solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers in order to bring notice of world regarding brutality on Kashmiri people in the occupied Kashmir.
