QUETTA: Security Force foiled on Wednesday an attempt to blow up Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express by defusing an explosive device planted on main railway track near the Sattar-Landi area of Mach Town district Bolan.

The Security forces and Bomb Disposal (BD) team reached to the spot suspend the train service and defused the Improvised Explosive Device.

An explosive device aiming to target the Jaffar Express was placed underside the track, timely response of the LEAs failed the attempt.

Later, the suspended train service restored.
