QUETTA: A Seminar on Wednesday stressed upon religious community to play their due role with National Accountability Bureau in eradicating menace of corruption from the society.

QUETTA: A Seminar on Wednesday stressed upon religious community to play their due role with National Accountability Bureau in eradicating menace of corruption from the society.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has conducted a Seminar on Wednesday to discuss religious community’s role in discouraging corruption from the country.

Director General NAB Balochistan Zahid Sheikh chaired the seminar whil Mufti Sai fur Rehman, Member Council for Islamic Idegolgy Dr. Qari Abdul Rasheed, Maulana Abdul Rauf, Maulana Muhammad Mudassir, Maulana Syed Muhammad Usman and other religious scholar have attended the seminar.

“Corruption has weakened the basic structure of the country and maligned our Islamic values thus along with NAB religious scholars should come forward against scourge of corruption in the country.” Director General NAB Balcohistan Zahid Sheikh said added all sectors of the society should play their due role in eradicating corruption.

The National Accountability Bureau Quetta announced to launch Anti-Corruption movement in the province with the support of religious scholars while training courses would be started for students of religious seminaries.

“Following the hadiths and directions of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH religious community should elaborate the lessons of our beloved prophet among their students.” DG NAB added.

The religious scholars in the Seminar pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with NAB against corruption vowed to spread religious point of view against menace of corruption.

The National Accountability Bureau lauded recommendations of religious scholars and announced to fully implement those suggestions against culture of corruption in the society.
