The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) and Islamic Relief Pakistan on Thursday signed a Grant Implementation Agreement worth Rs 192.6 million for funding projects for flood protection, waterconservation and retrofitting of schools in two districts of Balochistan: Quetta and Chaghi.
Out of Rs 192.6 million agreement Rs 127.6 million is being funded by NDRMF as grant.
The agreement is for a project called, ‘Resilient and Adaptive Population in Disaster (RAPID).
The NDRMF is funding projects for flood protection, water conservation and retrofitting of schools in Quetta and Chaghi districts through this grant, said a press release issued here.
