QUETTA: Coming provincial budget would be different because we have been utilizing utmost efforts to unveil provincial budget in better interest of this province. Jam Kamal said.

He shared these views on Monday while chairing a meeting to review the affairs of next provincial financial budget here in Quetta.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Dr. Akhtar Nazeer, Additional Chief Secretary P&D Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Provincial Finance Minister Zahoor Buledi and Secretary Finance Noor ul Haq Baloch were present in meeting.

The meeting was informed that all departments have suggested collective based development projects for next budget which would increase provincial revenue.

“Unfortunately previous government didn’t pay much attention over collective based projects which kept people of Balochistan deprived from basic facilities.” Jam Kamal said while addressing the meeting lauded preparation of PSDP with guidelines given by political leadership.

The meeting also reviewed development of skill development and revenue generating sectors decided that skill development would be priority of our government in next budget.

The meeting also reviewed to shift religious seminaries toward modern education.

“By following guidelines of Planning and Commission Department, Balochistan High Court and political leadership we could balance our available resources and expenditures while funds would be available for development schemes.” CM Balochistan said pledged to take development process till micro-level.

He directed P&D department to give priority to strategic projects of PSDP on district and provincial level also said the department should provide assistance to other departments in order to preparing development schemes.

“We need Think-Tanks who could provide guideline to provincial government in making project according to the need of this province.” Jam Kamal said.
