The main suspect, identified as Ibrahim, took the girl to a deserted area in his van and sexually assaulted her with his friend.

The suspects left the girl outside a private hospital in critical condition and fled the scene.

After being informed, police reached the site and shifted the student to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital.

Later, police registered a first information report (FIR) and arrested Ibrahim and his friend Nadeem after Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident.

While directing the authorities to take quick action against the culprits and provide swift justice to the victim at any cost, the chief minister had also sought a report of the incident from DPO Layyah at the earliest.

The interim medical report of the victim also confirmed that the students was subjected to rape, according to police officials.

Earlier on November 26, a woman was allegedly gang-raped in Sialkot’s Daska Tehsil.
