QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Wednesday chaired a budget strategy paper meeting for 2019-20 conducted by Finance Department.

Finance department tabled the Budget Strategy Paper for the year of 2019-20 and shared the formula of funds for scheduled, continued and future development projects in Balochistan.

CM Jam Kamal has directed Planning and Development and Finance department to start immediate implementation over newly proposed budget schedule.

The meeting was agreed upon to launch skill development and departmental reforms programs in the province in order to end poverty from Balochistan during next 2019-20 development program.

Government of Balochistan has decided to adopt effective strategy in order to balance provincial resources and expenditures stressed upon to maintain less development budget during next financial budget.

“We have been keenly working on system to repair our home, better planning on Public Sector Development Fund has become imperative for provincial development.” CM Jam Kamal said while addressing the meeting we shouldn’t give chances anyone to complaints over PSDP.

The meeting decided to go for necessary amendments in Local Government Act in order to ensure better utilization of Local Government Councils funds.

CM Balochistan directed all departments to share data of land they possess because proper use of government land could increase provincial revenue.

Secretary Finance Noor ul Haq Baloch has informed the meeting regarding provincial financial expenditures and expected resources for next year’s physical budget.

Lamenting over personal based development projects CM Jam Kamal said, unfortunately during previous regimes personal based projects had been inducted in provincial PSDP by using personal relations,

“Political Government is responsible to share their vision for public development which starts by Bureaucracy,” Jam Kamal said stressed upon bureaucracy to show sincerity for provincial development.
