QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project has highlights Balochistan at international level. Balochistan is facing challenges in good governance due to lack of resources. CPEC would connect Balochistan to China, central Asia and other countries.

The Pakistan Largest Province Balochistan has huge natural resources, said Alyani, adding that we have opened the provincial natural resources for World. The province would financially be better with in next four years, CM said.

Chief Minister Balochistan While speaking at ceremony held at naval War College’s 46 staff course participants stated that Balochistan is geographically a land of natural resources. This Province faced difficult situation in past 15 years. Huge population of this province left the province due to worse law and order situation, said Kamal.

Talking about investment opportunities, CM said” Balochistan has 700 kilometers coastal belt and have capacity to produce wind and solar energy for the country,” Chaghi is top in list for solar energy which could produce 20 percent of energy for country’s energy system. Balochistan through wind and solar energy have capacity to produce 35 percent energy for country’s national grid system, he said.

Fishing is another big source of revenue generation for Balochistan, said Alyani, Kech farming betterment would helpful for revenue generation for Pakistan and people of Balochistan. Sault is another huge industry which could generate revenue for Balochistan and PVC Pipe and other industries would revenue generate sectors in Balochistan, he added.

Law and order in Balochistan is big challenge for government, said Kamal, we are taking initiatives for the betterment of law and order situation in the province. Peaceful environment for foreign investors is top priority of provincial government, said Kamal.

Chief Minister Balochistan during his speech condolence to the 16 Sri Lankan officers who were part of this course on the tragic incident happened in Sri Lanka recently in Churches and hotel and shows his sympathy with the deceased families.

Jam Kamal said Balochistan faced crises of good governance due to shortage of financial resources, adding that the development work was stopped in the province due to difficult situation. If the situation was good in past than the financial condition of Balochistan would be changed now, said Alyani.

He said that “we are utilizing resources for creating jobs, provincial development, betterment of health and education and human resources.” We have a coalition government in Balochistan and we believes in working together for the betterment of Balochistan, said CM.

Balochistan government with Federal Government preparing better road network, said Kamal, adding that All the political parties agrees on Balochistan’s development agenda. Balochistan would be economically strong with in coming years, claimed Alyani.
