Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has assured the government of full cooperation in the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).

The 219th Corps Commanders Conference at the General Headquarters reviewed the geo-strategic environment and situation due to ongoing Pakistan and India standoff. Expressing concerns over India’s increased atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir, post-Pulwama attack, the meeting concluded that such brutalities only add fuel to fire and need to be stopped in the interest of regional peace.

Army chief Bajwa said while addressing the huddle said, “Pakistan is on the positive trajectory of peace, stability, and progress. No one can make us budge through use or threat of use of force. Similarly, policy and the right of use of force shall remain the prerogative of the state alone”, the army chief said while discussing the progress of National Action Plan.

IT’s a matter of fact, several media reports suggest that different organizations operate in Pakistan in the name of charity groups to collect Zakat and then use it for their hidden agenda. India accuses Pakistan of letting globally designated terrorists roam freely in the country. Pakistan has always rejected Indian allegations and termed them as politically motivated statements to malign Pakistan in order to divert the attention from what is happening in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The law enforcement agencies during the crackdown against banned organization have taken more than 100 members including senior leaders of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM), into custody on Tuesday. Interior Minister of State Mr. Shehryar Khan Afridi during a press conference said that nobody will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state.

The ‘courageous and bold’ decision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa against religious fanaticism to make Pakistan an inclusive and peaceful state. Pakistan has long been accused of harboring of terrorists belonging to globally designated terror groups to use them as its strategic assets, an allegation the country has always rejected and termed as baseless. New leadership in Pakistan is reportedly clear about its direction and has the vision to work on improving the economy and reforming society by eliminating all sorts of terrorism and extremism from Pakistan.

Maulana Khadim Rizvi, a firebrand speaking and chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, was also taken into custody after using abusive language against the security institutions and armed forces of the country and encouraging his followers to kill judges who acquitted Ms. Asia Bibi, a Christian woman falsely accused of blasphemy. PTI leadership has maintained so far that there shall be no compromise on the rule of law. Therefore, those who challenge the writ of the state will be dealt with accordingly.

All actions being taken at the moments are a clear manifestation of Imran’s government vision to make Pakistan welfare and peaceful state. Both PM Khan’s critics and admirers praised him for his bold decisions to curb extremism and religious fanaticism from Pakistan.

It is important to mention here that the Federal government has announced to implement the NAP in letter and spirit. The government has banned some organizations and arrested several leaders and members of various organizations. Besides, several mosques and religious seminaries have been taken into the control of the state to regulate them.

It’s clear that the incumbent government is determined to reform the national discourse in the country to make Pakistan truly a welfare state.
