QUETTA: The Afghan Consul General Waheed Ullah Momand on Thursday called on Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani discussed Pak-Afghan mutual economic relations.

QUETTA: The Afghan Consul General Waheed Ullah Momand on Thursday called on Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani discussed Pak-Afghan mutual economic relations.

“Fortunately this region has capacity to fill the energy need of whole world and Tapi Gas Pipeline project would be in the better interest of all regional countries.” CM Jam Kamal said added we shouldn’t lose hopes regarding Afghan peace dialogue.

Citing the example of appeasing tension between United States and North Korea CM Jam Kamal said, rivalry regional powers can sit on dialogue table that is the only solution to secure the interest of all nations added we all have to obtain benefits from the economic opportunities.

“Pakistan always played a key role in Afghan peace process because we believe peaceful Afghanistan would in better interest of Pakistan.”

Afghan Consul General Waheed Ullah Moman concurred the opinion of CM Balochistan added both countries have been plagued with terrorism and we believe in fostering business ties with Pakistan added issues amid Pakistan and Afghanistan could be resolved through dialogue.

Lauding the Pakistan role in hosting millions of Afghan Refugees he said, Pakistan has been hosting a large number of Afghan refugees from decades and Afghan government always lauded the role of Pakistan in restoring peace in Afghanistan.
