QUETTA: Inspector General of Police Balochistan Mohsin Hassan Butt has said that Balochistan Police with Law enforcement agencies is combating against terrorism. Balochistan Police is trying to maintain law and order situation in the province.

The security situation in Balochistan is better now, said IG Mohsin Hassan, adding that we have installed CCTV Cameras for better security in Chaman and Pasheen and installation work of CCTV Cameras in Mastung in process. Safe City project is under process and after completion it would be handed over to Balochistan Police, IG said.

While addressing at a Police Darbar IG Balochistan said that the security forces official ready to combat against terrorism in Balochistan, adding that we are taking initiatives for digital security system in Balochistan. The police officials and officers would necessary to learn about digital technology, he said.

IG Balochistan Mohsin Hassan said that hundreds of Police officials martyrs in war against terrorism in Balochistan, adding that all forces units are trying for restoration of law and order in rest of the province. 400 police soldiers got trained by Pakistan Army with the help of provincial government, Butt said.

He said that eagle squad doing good work against street crimes in Quetta, adding that “we have planned to spread this force in each and every district of Balochistan for elimination of crimes.” We are resolving the issues of police stations and their housing societies in rest of the province, said IG Balochistan.

We are taking initiatives for citizen friendly police in Balochistan, Said IG, adding that better coordination between public and police could helpful in elimination of crimes from the city as well as province. Writ of the state law is our first priority, he added.

Police Department has provide 30 new vehicles to different police stations in the province, said Mohsin Hassan, adding that we are trying to form a better policing system in Balochistan, he added.

Later, IG Balochistan offered Fateha for martyr’s police officials. Additional IG Balochistan Jahanzeb Khan Jogezai, Additional IG and Commandant BC Ashraf Zubair Siddiqui, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and others senior officers attend the ceremony.
