QUETTA: During meeting with Chief Minister Balochistan on Thursday Chairman of SUPARCO has offered utilization of Space Technology in provincial Environmental, Forest, Town Planning Mineral, Agriculture and Water Projects.

The Chairman of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUARCO) Major General Amir Nadeem has informed Chief Minister Balochistan regarding performance of his team offering Government of Balochistan regarding SUPARCO’s assistance in various provincial sectors.

“Our organization has embarked Space Program in Pakistan in 1947 and today Pakistan has two satellites in the space which has been contributing in Communication, Metrology, Navigation and Remote Sensing fields,” Chairman SUPARCO Major General Amir Nadeem informed CM Balochistan and other cabinet members.

He added our organization has established sub-offices in all four provincial capitals and providing satellite facilities as per need, “The Government of Balochistan has been taking SUPARCO’s assistance in Agriculture, and Environmental fields while sharing expertise for selection of points in building new Dams.

Lauding the contribution of SUPARC in technology fields of Pakistan CM Balochistan jam Kamal said, digital organizations like SUPARCO playing an active role for the development of Pakistan,

“The Provincial Government seek SUPARCO Space and Technology’s assistance in monitoring of development projects in remote Districts of Province.”

Government of Balochistan has decided to take assistance of SUPARCO and announced to sign Memorandum of Understanding with Space and Technology Organization during next meeting.
