Saudi energy minister discuss oil refinery deals in Gwadar

QUETTA: The Saudi Arabia delegation headed by Saudi Petroleum Minister Prince Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz has arrived in Gwadar on Saturday holding discussion on Pak-Saudi trade and 10 billion dollars oil refinery in Gwadar.

QUETTA: The Saudi Arabia delegation headed by Saudi Petroleum Minister Prince Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz has arrived in Gwadar on Saturday holding discussion on Pak-Saudi trade and 10 billion dollars oil refinery in Gwadar.

Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi, Minister for Marine Affairs Haider Ali Zaidi and high officials received the delegation at Gwadar Airport.

Lending briefing to the Saudi Delegation in Gwadar Free Zone Business Complex Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan told that Pakistan daily exporting 61 million barrel oil while the country has vas opportunities of investment in agriculture fields,

“We are going to sign an agreement with Saudi Government next month over Installing Oil Refinery in Gwadar that would induct Saudi Arabia as third partner in China Pakistan Economic Corridor.” Federal Minister said calling Saudi’s investment in Pakistan’s sectors as an unprecedented for country’s economy.

Chairman Chinese Overseas Port Holding Company Mr. Xing Bao Zhong termed the business environment in Gwadar peaceful adding we have been fully supported by the Federal/ Provincial Government and local population,

“Various Chinese Companies have been working in Gwadar freely indeed the city of deep sea port has a bright future.” Mr. Xing Bao Zhong added.

Lauding the business initiative with Pakistan Government Saudi Minister for Petroleum and Energy Prince Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz said, we have strong relations with Pakistan from decades and we seek to further strengthen our ties adding the Saudi monarchy has always expressed their well wishes for peace and development in Pakistan,

“Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are two strong pillars of peace, therefore we have decided to put our share in Pakistan’s development.” Saudi Prince said expressing interest of investing in many sectors of Pakistan.

He added, no one can deny the importance of Gwadar Port in CPEC, after completion of economic corridor the port city would be known for economic hub of the region vowing in short period we would invest in various development projects.

He announced to import rice from Pakistan and cold centers for Fisheries industry of Gwadar.

Sharing the details of meeting with Saudi delegation on social media Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi said, discussion on 10 billion dollars Oil Refinery in Gwadar discussed with Saudi Minister for Petroleum and Energy.

Zahoor Buledi presented a Souvenir made by local from Gwadar to the Saudi Prince.
