CHAGAI: Pak Iran Cargo Train Service suspended for three days as Mirjawa to Quetta bound goods train met a dangerous accident near Kaishangi area of Nushki.

CHAGAI: Pak Iran Cargo Train Service suspended for three days as Mirjawa to Quetta bound goods train met a dangerous accident near Kaishangi area of Nushki.

According to official sources the train was on its way from Mirjawa to Quetta, suddenly the engine seized while it was crossing an ascent near Kaishangi on Quetta Shaikh Wasil Railway section, resultantly engine among 9 boogies loaded with 600 tons of Brimstone derailed.

The incident destroyed over 100 feet of railway track too. Soon after the incident Pakistan Railways called it more than 100 workers from Dalbandin, Ahmed Wall, Nushki, Quetta and adjacent areas who started repair work. Due to repair work on Railway Track goods trains have been stopped in Taftan and Dalbandin. Railway sources believe that the repair work would be completed in two days.
