QUETTA: Dostain Dashti, District Police Officer Kalat vowed to continue plentiful actions against ganglands.

While addressing on the pining ceremony of badges to the newly promoted police officers he congratulated the officers and said the performance of Kalat police to maintain peace is out-class.

The ceremony held in Kalat Police Station on Monday. Large number of people including tribal, political parties’ leaders and cops were present in the occasion.

“Protection of public lives and valuables is the duties of police”, DPO said adding that dozens of offenders and criminals have been arrested by Kalat police and targeted actions are underway to curb the crime from the area.

Seven Sub-Inspectors who were promoted as Inspectors are Sana Ullah Mengal, Wahid Mughal, Khuda Bakhsh Dehwar, Munir Ahmed, Qari Ghulam Mustafa, Abdul Qadir Langove and Jalil Ahmed Zehri.

Later Dostain Dashti pinned the badges of the ranks to the newly promoted officers and distributed commendatory certificates among them on behalf of Inspector General Police (IGP) Balochistan.
