QUETTA: Inspector General of Balochistan Police Mohsin Hassan Butt on Monday promoted 182 sub-inspectors of Balochistan Police and Balochistan Constabulary to Inspector ranks stressed upon sincerity toward profession.

“After getting promotions your responsibilities have been increased toward securing lives and properties of people of Balochistan and I am optimistic that you guys will perform you best for making sure peace.” IG Police Mohsin Hassan Butt said while addressing the promotion ceremony held in Central Police Office.

Additional IG Police Balochistan Chaudery Manzoor Sarwar, Additional IG Police w Commandant Balochistan Zubair Ashraf Siddique, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and police officials were present in the ceremony.

IG Police said, following the current challenges of Police Department we have been working for welfare of our personnel that would be helpful to strengthen the Police Structure in Balochistan.

Total 182 Sub-Inspector among 152 from regular Police and 30 of Balochistan Constabulary promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector.

“Our Officers after appreciable hard work short listed the deserving Sub-Inspector on merit, though after nearly three years the board recommended promotions but departmental promotions should be carried-out on annual basis.” IG Balochistan said.
