QUETTA  – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan chapter on Wednesday handed over Rs460 million recovered from the corrupt elements to the provincial government.

QUETTA  – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan chapter on Wednesday handed over Rs460 million recovered from the corrupt elements to the provincial government.

The anti-graft watchdog Balochistan chapter handed over recovered money to the provincial government during a splendid ceremony held at the provincial capital.

Speaking on the occasion, NAB Director General (DG) Muhammad Abid Javed said that monitoring development projects by NAB is not meant to halt them.

On the hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal while addressing the event said that most of the development projects of the province were marred by corruption.

He however said that we have to pay attention to our responsibilities for development of nation and country.

The society which doesn’t have accountability gets destroyed.

At the end of ceremony, honorary shields and certificates were also distributed among the NAB officials who recovered looted money from the corrupt elements.
