QUETTA: Opposition parties in Balochistan Assembly unanimously named JUI F’s Malik Sikandar Advocate as opposition leader in the house ending speculations regarding rifts among opposition parties over opposition leader’s name.
Balochistan National Party’s Mengal Sources said that the opposition parties after various sitting unanimously were agreed upon Malik Sikandar Advocate to lead the opposition parties in the house,
“Members of JUI F and BNP Mengal have unanimously decided to name Malik Sikandar Advocate as Opposition leader in the house to lead opposition members.” Sources said adding the delegation of JUI F and BNP would meet Nawab Raisani and PK MAP to announce their support Mr. Sikandar.
The opposition parties will submit application regarding notification of Malik Sikandar in the Provincial Assembly tomorrow.
Delays in announcing opposition leader were causing hurdles in constituting various Government’s committees including the Chairman of Public Accounts Committee.
