QUETTA: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan Mohsin Hassan Butt on Friday said, law and order situation has improved in Balochistan.

While addressing to the 88th passing out parade ceremony held at police training centre Quetta, IGP Mohsin Hassan Butt said, law enforcing agencies’ concrete steps, has improved law and order situation of the province.

“Police is ready to foil any attempt by the enemies to disturb law and order of the province’”, the IGP continued.

He said that Police are making all-out efforts to protect the life and property of people despite lack of resources.

Balochistan facing external threat, from the element that wanted to disturb the pace of the province, he added.

Government taken measured to equip Balochistan police with modern trainings and arms directing his force to fill their responsibilities with dignity and honor, IGP added.

“Today peace has been restored in the province due to precious sacrifice rendered by Balochistan Police, protecting masses and purging out crime from the society were prime duties of Police force.”

“With the support of provincial government, we have been utilizing all available resource to strengthen our police force.” Mohsin Butt added.

For establishment of law and order, the personnel of Balochistan police have played significant role and served as a front line force. While in order to eradicate the multi-headed menace of terrorism, the Balochistan Police morale is high, the IGP added.

Sharing his views over martyrs of police IGP Mohsin but said, we can’t forget our martyrs who lost their lives in the line of duty, we need to set a lien following their vision.

He said that the services of police force needed to be recalled. Government of Balochistan thereby must ensure the provision of perks and privileges equal to the police force of other provinces.

“Our young generation is our asset and it will work for the development of the country,” said Mohsin but.

He said government of Balochistan assured us to fulfil all demands of the department and implementation on demand would be ensured soon.

During the passing out parade, as many as 313 recruits were inducted in police department, who were trained,by the police trainers for eight months.

The chief guest of the occasion, the IGP Mohsin Hassan Butt was given guard of honour by FC contingent during the ceremony.

Baluchistan’s top cop also distributed prizes amongst the new police recruits over distinctive performance.
