The Provincial Spokesperson of Government of Balochistan shared these views in his statement adding in last five years Balochistan was awarded merely two development projects in face of Gwadar Port and HUBCO Coal Power Project.
“Tough those development projects are imperative for Balochistan but Government of Balochistan seeks more projects to provide direct relief to the downtrodden people of the province.” The Spokesperson said.
The statements reads, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal during last session to review progress of CPEC related development projects expressed concerns over imparting less opportunities to Balochistan in CPEC and held responsible previous regimes for ignoring provincial share in mega development projects,
“CM Balochistan and Federal Minister for Planning and Development are likely to participate in coming Joint Corporation Committee (JCC) of CPEC, Jam Kamal has vowed to utilize his earnest efforts to clinch major share of CPEC for Balochistan during next of infrastructure of Pak-China development projects.” The spokespersons added.
The Government of Balochistan has decided to wait for Islamabad’s progress for JCC and Provincial Government would share its stance after centre’s move.
