QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party Mengal on Friday constituted a committee to decide future’s action and discuss recommendation over party’s defeat on PB-47 Kech alleging blatant rigging for making win the ruling party’s candidate in by-polls.

Addressing a news conference in Quetta Press Club the central leadership of Balochistan National Party Mengal has express severe reservations over credibility of by-election on PB-47 alleging open rigging committed to elect Balochistan Awami Party (BAP)’s candidate.

The party has constituted party based committed to examine the irregularities committed during Kech by-election and directed the committee members to submit their recommendations.

“According to un-officials results of 56 polling stations our candidate was on lead against the BAP’s candidate with receiving 5686 votes, but the final results presents another picture of public mandate.” BNP Mengal’s senior leader and MPA Malik Naseer shahwani said adding astonishingly he received thousands votes from high-sensitive areas of Mand.

Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani, Sajid Tareen Advocate, Ghulam Nabi Mari and senior leadership of BNP Mengal expresses their reservations over transparency of by-polls in Kech.

They said, Lala Rasheed skipped BNP Mengal before general elections while he contested elections as an Independent candidate due to he didn’t get the party ticket, “In Mand Election staff was busy in calling voters through loud speakers and according to or information only four votes were casted there but the ruling party’s candidate succeeded in thousands of magic votes.”

Baochistan National Party Mengal said, public mandate should be given respect in Balochistan because we have the right to protest against our stolen mandate.

Malik Naseer Shahwani said, in general elections some hidden powers have turned our victory into defeat on NA-265 and PB-31 where our party’s candidate Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani had received leading votes.
