All facilities ensure for residents under DHA Quetta Housing scheme: Brigadier Javed Iqbal

QUETTA: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta’s Administrator Brigadier Muhammad Javed Iqbal on Friday said Construction of Quetta DHA would be completed with provision of all standard facilities including health, education and other amenities to residents.

QUETTA: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta’s Administrator Brigadier Muhammad Javed Iqbal on Friday said Construction of Quetta DHA would be completed with provision of all standard facilities including health, education and other amenities to residents.

It would be an exemplary model for people of other provinces of country, despite, educational, business there will be all available opportunities including educational, business and other conveniences of every sector of life in DHA Quetta.

Brigadier Javed Iqbal expressed these views while briefing to members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Balochistan Quetta and Business community regarding DHA here.

Javed Iqbal said they want to construct housing in Quetta under DHA in which amenities including, education, health, sports amenities would be provided to residents, beside that Water Resources Management System would also be istalled in it.

He said there would be established for game zone and parks for entertainment of public in DHA Quetta, saying that collective efforts would be taken for success of such projects.

He said not only efforts were being made for sale of high classes of people, but they would also benefit common men considering social culture and traditions.

He said similar project has a strong connection with the economy and this plan is a foundation which would bring successful in different fields of Balochistan in future.

“Quetta is only major city of Balochistan which is situated on main rout of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) project”, he said, adding that DHA Quetta would be considered to cope environmental situation and other necessities of life.

He said second phases would be considered after succeeding of phase one.

President chamber of Commerce, Juma Khan Badezai and Senior Vice president Salahuddin Khilji, Vice president Yasin Raisani, and other were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, Chief of Chamber of Commerce Ghulam Farooq and other members welcomed to Brigadier Muhammad Javed Iqbal on arriving the department.

Ghulam Farooq also briefed the Brigadier Javed Iqbal regarding Chamber of Commerce and said its foundation had been laid in 1971 and there have now more than 4,000 members in Chamber of Commerce who are continuing business in country and neighboring countries.

Around Rs. 20 billion had been paid for legal trade taxes to Custom department by Chamber of Commerce and Business community, he said, adding that requirement of housing scheme was being felt in provincial capital for long period of time in which people are available to facilities along with accommodation.

He said interest of business community and industry related people have been increased after announcement of DHA Quetta.
